Discipleship is one of the greatest and toughest ways that we can further ourselves as Christians. Jesus's great commission to us was to "Go into the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19) We intend to do just that! Our discipleship meetings are once per week with many different locations and teachers to choose from.

What better way to celebrate the love of Christ than surfing with fellow church members. Our Surf Ministry takes place at Scripps Pier in La Jolla. We do two surfs per week, one on Saturday at around 8am and one on Wednesday at around 4pm. Please contact Alex if you are interested, or simply just show up and introduce yourself, we welcome everyone!

Music is a very important aspect of worship at Barabbas Road. At the moment we have about 8 musicians that rotate on a schedule to provide music for our services. If you have any musical talent and would like to join us please contact Scott and we will get you plugged in! All skill levels and instruments welcome!

After worship on Sundays we host the Barabbas Road Sports Recreation and Fitness Training Fun Time! This is open to athletes of all ages and abilities. Lately we have been playing soccer and kickball, but are open to any and all ideas for new games. If sports is not your bag, then try one of our 5 La Jolla fitness trainers for a FREE one hour session of fitness training. All events are held at 11:30am in Kate Sessions Park across the street from the church. We hope to see you there!!!
